What We Collect

Pre-launch (now): Only your email address when you join the waitlist.

At launch, we will collect information necessary to operate the service:

• Phone number — to create your account and verify identity
• Business information — name, location, hours, products, payment methods (for business pages)
• Order history — what you ordered, when, from whom
• Search queries — to improve search results and understand what people need
• Location — to show nearby businesses and relevant results
• Follow graph — who you follow, to build your personal feed
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, to improve the experience

What We Don't Collect

• Payment information — we never process, store, or see your payment data. Payments go directly between customers and businesses.
• Star ratings or written reviews — we intentionally don't collect these. Trust on honak.app is calculated from real activity, not opinions.
• We never sell your individual data to anyone. Ever.

How We Use Your Data

• Operate the service — show you relevant businesses, process orders, deliver notifications
• Calculate trust metrics — reorder rates, delivery times, and subscriber growth are auto-calculated from real activity data
• Improve search — understand intent and show better results over time
• Business analytics — help businesses understand their customers (only their own data, never other businesses')
• Safety and security — detect fraud, prevent abuse, protect users

Trust Metrics

Trust metrics on honak.app are auto-calculated from real platform activity — reorder rates, delivery times, subscriber counts, response times. They are not editable by the business. Each business type shows different metrics relevant to their category. These metrics are public (visible to customers) and represent real behavior, not opinions. No one can fake, buy, or sabotage them.

Data Sharing

• We never sell individual user data to third parties
• Businesses see only their own customer data — never another business's data
• We may share anonymized, aggregated market insights (e.g., 'searches for plumbers in Amman grew 40% this month') — never individual data
• We may share data when required by law or to protect safety

Your Rights

Your data is yours. Always.

• Access — see all data we have about you
• Export — download your data anytime
• Delete — remove your data permanently (right to be forgotten)
• Leave — close your account and take your data with you, no lock-in

Business Data

If you create a business page, you own your business data — customer lists, order history, product catalog, analytics. You can export it all anytime. If you leave, your data leaves with you. We earn your stay by being useful, not by trapping you.

Third-Party Services

In the future, honak.app may support mini apps and third-party integrations. Each will require separate, explicit consent before accessing your data. Mini apps run in isolated sandboxes and cannot access other apps' or users' data without permission.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated policy.
